Car ploughs into jewellery shop in South Harrow

A car has crashed into a jewellery shop on Northolt Road, South Harrow this afternoon.

Reports received by Harrow Online initially suggested that the shop had been ram-raided however this is not the case. It is believed that the driver of the vehicle lost control before ploughing into the shop.

Thankfully, no injuries have been reported, no arrests have been made and the road has not been closed off.

A Met police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 10:54hrs on Monday, 31 August to reports of a car in collision with a shop front in Northolt Road, Harrow.

“Officers attended. No injuries were reported. No arrests were made and work to recover the vehicle is ongoing.”
