Four fire engines rush to flats and motorcycle on fire in Kingsbury

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters attended a fire on Westfield Close in Brent.

Firefighters tackled a fire at a three-storey residential block, where part of a ground floor flat and part of a third floor flat in the loft area were damaged by the fire. A motorcycle outside of the fire was also destroyed by the fire.

Around 40 people left the property before the Brigade arrived.

The Brigade was called at 1505 and the fire was under control by 1605. Fire crews from Hendon and Stanmore fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire will be investigated. Thankfully we can confirm that nobody was injured in the fire.
